I created this work by painting layers of blue, green, white shades, then carving a continuous contour line through the final layer. The work's soothing colors co-exist with this line's rapid twists and turns weaving through the painting.
Sometimes, clarity and movement come from a time of pause, moments of stillness. This painting is a part of my series all about this concept, Into the Transcendent Point.

About the Into the Transcendent Point collection
The transcendent point is the place we go when we are completely in the moment - so much so it seems that time cannot exist because there is only the present. It’s like you’re everywhere and nowhere at once because there is only this place. You are only here right where you are.
